Goodlings

Grow Good Humans

Grow good humans — starting with our own

Goodlings started the way the best ideas do — around a kitchen table in Plano, Texas, with two kids who wanted stars for their chores and parents who could never quite keep track of the rewards.

The spark

Every family has a chore-chart graveyard

The sticker chart that lasted a week. The points nobody could track. The gentle reminder that turned into the fourth reminder — and then nagging. We had been there too.

So we built something that feels less like a chore chart and more like watching something grow: warm, encouraging, and full of small daily wins worth celebrating.

“We didn't want a chore chart. We wanted a sprout.”

Meet the founders (yes, really)

Goodlings started with a brother-and-sister team — Vidit (6) and Aanya (9) — at their kitchen table in Plano, Texas.

Their parents assigned chores and promised star rewards, but like most families, keeping track of who earned what was always a mess. After seeing a reward program at their elementary school, Vidit and Aanya wanted the same thing at home. They designed habits, learning quizzes, and little pets called goodlings — then talked their mom and dad into helping make it real.

Vidit, co-founder of Goodlings

Vidit, 6

The creative mind behind habits and pets. Vidit loves cars, LEGOs, and earning stars.

“I wanted a pet that grows every time I do my chores.”

Aanya, co-founder of Goodlings

Aanya, 9

The visionary behind the reward system. Aanya loves Harry Potter, reading, and penguins.

“You should get stars for trying — not just for winning.”

Built with lots of help from Mom and Dad (and more snacks than anyone wants to admit).
